Description

Thatched Cottage is a house dating from the mid-18th century. It is constructed of squared coursed limestone and features a thatched roof, with an L-shaped plan and two storeys. The main front has a two-window range of casements with glazing bars, all under wooden lintels. To the left, there is a plank door also beneath a wooden lintel. Brick stacks are located at both ends of the building. The right elevation has a similar two-window range of casements under wooden lintels, with those on the first floor positioned beneath eyebrow dormers. The interior has not been inspected but likely contains remnants of an open fireplace.
