Description
The Stag's Head Public House is a building dating from 1686, located on the south side of Great Doddington High Street. It is constructed of regularly coursed limestone and features a 20th-century concrete tile roof. The original layout consists of four units, and the building is a single storey with an attic.
The façade includes a five-window range of 20th-century leaded casements set beneath concrete lintels, with a corresponding five-window range of hipped roof dormers above. There are two 20th-century doors positioned between the window ranges. The building has an ashlar gable parapet and kneelers on the right side, along with brick stacks at the ridge and end. A datestone is located in the right gable. Additionally, there is a 20th-century extension at the rear. The interior has not been inspected.
