Description

This is a house dating from 1781. It is constructed from squared coursed limestone with a Collyweston slate roof, and follows an L-shaped plan. The main frontage is two windows wide, with a projecting cross wing to the right. The windows are casement style, set beneath wooden lintels; the first-floor window of the cross wing includes glazing bars. A canted bay window with stone detailing and glazing bars features on the left-hand side. A leaded casement window is present in the ground-floor return wall of the cross wing. The central entrance is through a six-panel door, also under a wooden lintel, with a single-light window to the right. A lean-to hood shelters the door and adjacent window. A datestone is visible in the gable of the cross wing. The cross wing has ashlar gable parapets, and a brick stack is located at its end. The interior has not been inspected.
