Description

This dovecote, located approximately 40 meters north of number 17 in Easton on the Hill, is likely from the early 18th century. It is constructed of squared coursed limestone and features a Collyweston slate roof with a squared plan. There is a 19th-century plank door on the left side, which is set under a wooden lintel, and a corresponding door on the rear elevation. A square opening is present at the apex of the right gable, and the structure has a gabled roof. Inside, there are nesting boxes in the upper stage and a 19th-century roof structure.
