Description
These outbuildings, located approximately 8 meters south of numbers 36 and 38 on London Road in Wollaston, date from the late 19th century. They were originally used by boot and shoe outworkers and are constructed of brick with a slate roof. Each building has a one-unit plan and stands two storeys high. The first floor features a two-window range of four-light casements, while the ground floor has two-light casements, all set under wooden lintels. There are two central plank doors also beneath wooden lintels, and brick stacks are positioned at each end. The interiors were not inspected. These outbuildings are included for their group value.
