WAKERLEY MAIN STREET (North side) No.5 (Bumble Bee Cottage)

(Formerly listed as No.5 (Tyke's Cottage))

GV II Shown as Nos. 6 and 7 on Ordnance Survey map. House. Early C18 and C19. Regular coursed limestone with pantile and thatch roof. Originally single-unit plan. Single storey with attic. Two-window range, of C19 casements, under wood lintels. Similar casement, under eyebrow dormer, to attic. Central C19 style plank door is also under wood lintel. Brick and stone stack at end. C19 single-storey outbuilding, to left, has pantile roof and now forms part of house. Interior not inspected.
