Description
Manor Farmhouse and the attached garden wall are a 17th-century farmhouse and wall, built in two phases. The structure is made of squared coursed ironstone and features Collyweston stone slate roofs, with coped gables and end stacks that have brick shafts on stone bases. The main block has a lower cross wing to the left. It is two storeys high with an attic and has a four-window range. The garden front of the main block includes a central doorway set in a 19th-century four-centred arch. There are two four-light and two two-light ovolo-moulded stone mullioned windows on the ground floor, with the two-light windows positioned nearest to the doorway. On the first floor, there are four three-light ovolo-moulded stone-mullioned windows. The windows have iron-framed gudgeon-hung casements, and there are two two-light hipped dormers with small-paned casements. The cross wing to the left is slightly lower and is now partly used as a garage, but it retains similar architectural details. To the right, there is a one-storey addition. A 19th-century addition at the rear is made of brick and ironstone and features a plain door in a wooden architrave. The tall garden wall is constructed of coursed ironstone rubble with some limestone scattered throughout. The interior has not been inspected.
