Description
The Old Rectory is a house that was originally built as a rectory in the late 18th century or early 19th century. It is constructed from squared coursed ironstone with limestone dressings and features a hipped slate roof, with brick stacks located at the rear. The building has three storeys and a five-window range. The sash windows, which have six panes over six panes on the ground and first floors and three panes over six panes on the second floor, are topped with gauged stone heads that have raised keystones. To the right, there is a lean-to addition that includes two similar sash windows. The entrance and extensive later 19th-century additions are located at the rear of the building. The interior has not been inspected.
