Description

The dovecote at Rushton Hall Farm is a Grade II listed structure, likely dating from the 16th century. It is built from squared coursed limestone and ironstone, topped with a Collyweston stone slate roof featuring coped gables with curved tops. The dovecote has a central square louvre with a pyramid roof and a ball finial, along with a string course and loop lights in the gable ends. The west end features a board door on strap hinges with a Tudor-arched head. There is a square stone with a cornice on the south side, although any inscription on it is now illegible. The interior has not been inspected.
