Description

YARWELL MILL ROAD TL0797 15/245 (East side) Bridge and attached sluice approx. 20m S of Yarwell Mill GV II Bridge and attached sluice. Probably early C19, restored C20. Squared coursed limestone bridge with wooden sluice. Single span bridge with segmental arch. Sluice has 2 gates, one renewed, raised by horizontal winding mechanism. Used to regulate the water level in the mill pond at Yarwell Mill (q.v.). Included for group value. (1204)
