Description
The bridge and attached sluice, located approximately 20 meters south of Yarwell Mill, is likely from the early 19th century and was restored in the 20th century. It is constructed of squared coursed limestone and features a wooden sluice. The bridge has a single span with a segmental arch. The sluice includes two gates, one of which has been renewed, and is operated by a horizontal winding mechanism. This structure is used to regulate the water level in the mill pond at Yarwell Mill and is included for its group value.
