Description

This is a mid-18th century house, now divided into two separate dwellings, located on the east side of Stanion High Street. The exterior is constructed of squared coursed limestone, with a roof originally thatched, now covered in concrete tiles. The building follows a two-unit plan and presents a two-window façade. The windows are C19 and C20 casements with glazing bars, each set beneath a wooden lintel. First-floor windows have shutter hooks. A C19 plank door is centrally positioned beneath a wooden lintel, and a C20 door is located to the far left. A brick stack rises from the ridge of the roof. The interior of number 3 includes ceiling beams.
