Description
Manor Farmhouse is a farmhouse dated 1605, with most of its features from the mid to late 18th century. It is built of squared coursed limestone and has a Collyweston slate roof, forming an L-shape plan. The building has two storeys with an attic. The main front features a three-window range of sash windows with glazing bars, which are set under gauged stone heads with keyblocks. There is a central 20th-century door that also has a gauged stone head above it. The gable parapets are made of ashlar, and there are three gabled roof dormers. At each end of the building, there are ashlar stacks. To the left, there is a one-window range of casements that has lower eaves and includes a datestone set in the quoins. The rear wing to the right of the main front has a two-window range of cross casements under gauged stone heads. Inside the earliest range to the left of the main front, there is an open fireplace with a bressumer.
