Description
Ivy House is a house dating from the mid-18th century. It is constructed of squared coursed limestone with an ashlar facade and has a Welsh slate roof. The building originally had a two-unit plan and stands two storeys tall with an attic. The first floor features a three-window range, while the ground floor has four windows, all of which are 20th-century casements set in original openings beneath gauged stone heads with keyblocks. The central entrance door, also from the 20th century, has a gauged stone head with a keyblock. The house has ashlar gable parapets and a central recessed dormer, with brick and ashlar stacks at each end. There is a similar one-unit extension attached to the left, which has a 20th-century entrance. The interior has not been inspected. Ivy House is included for its group value.
