Description
Numbers 3 and 5, along with the attached outbuilding, are a house dating from the mid-18th century. The building is constructed of squared coursed limestone and has a Welsh slate roof. It features a two-unit plan, standing two storeys high with an attic and cellar, and has two bays. The front has a one-window range of 20th-century casements in the original openings, which are topped with gauged stone heads and keyblocks. There is a central six-panel door, also beneath a gauged stone head. The bay to the left of the entrance is blank. The gable parapets are made of ashlar, and there are brick and stone stacks at each end.
To the right, there is a two-storey, two-window range outbuilding that is now part of the house. It has a central door opening with a wood lintel. The gable elevation to the left, which faces the road, has one 20th-century casement on each floor in original openings, also under gauged stone heads with keyblocks. Additionally, there is a two-light stone mullion window in the cellar. The interior has not been inspected.
