Description
Maylands is a farmhouse, now a house, dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed of regularly coursed ironstone with a limestone plinth and has a concrete tile roof. The building has a three-unit plan and stands three storeys high, featuring a three-window range of 19th-century sashes set under wooden lintels. To the right of the centre, there is a 20th-century stone porch, flanked by 19th-century canted wooden bays. The gable ends have parapets with ashlar kneelers, and there are brick stacks at the ridge and ends. An ironstone wall is attached to the front elevation. The interior has not been inspected. This building is included for its group value.
