Description
The Northamptonshire Province Royal Antediluvian Order of Buffaloes Club, originally known as The New Inn Public House, is a public house that has been converted into a club. It dates from the early 19th century and underwent alterations in the 19th century. The building is constructed of squared coursed ironstone and limestone, topped with a 20th-century concrete tile roof.
It features a three-storey, two-window range with large early 20th-century casements on the ground floor, tripartite sashes on the first floor, and 19th-century casements on the second floor. The entrance has a 20th-century door, and both the door and first-floor windows are adorned with stone lintels that include keyblocks. The building is finished with ashlar gable parapets and kneelers, as well as brick stacks at the ridge and ends. The right side elevation displays banded limestone and ironstone, indicating an early 19th-century raising of the second floor at the front. The interior has not been inspected.
