Description

This barn, located approximately 10 meters east of number 29 in Easton on the Hill, dates from the early 18th century. It is constructed from squared coursed and banded limestone and ironstone, topped with a Collyweston slate roof. The barn features five bays and has a central cart entrance with a wooden lintel. There are pitch holes on either side of the entrance, each with plank doors, and three triangular vents flanking the doors. The central door on the rear elevation was modified in the 19th century, and there are 20th-century doors in the right gable end. The interior retains much of its original structure, including staggered purlins.
