Description

Bay Cottage is a house located on Church Street in Polebrook, dating from the mid to late 18th century. It is constructed of squared coursed limestone and features a thatched roof. The building was originally likely designed with a two-unit plan and has two storeys. To the right, there is a canted bay window with a stone base and thatched roof, while to the left, there is a 20th-century single-light window. The central entrance consists of a 20th-century door set beneath a wooden lintel. There is no window on the first floor at the front. The gable ends have brick parapets along the party wall, and there is a rendered stack at one end. The interior has not been inspected.
