Description

This is a 17th-century house located on the north side of Sheep Street in Winslow. The front elevation is whitewashed render and roughcast, revealing timber framing to the rear and part of the right gable. The house has a thatched roof with a thin brick chimney stack between the right-hand bays, and a lobby entry. It is of 1½ storeys and has three bays, with the right-hand bay being wider. The windows are leaded casements; a five-light window is on the ground floor of the right-hand bay, while the remaining windows on the ground floor are three-light, with segmental heads. First-floor windows are set within the thatched roof. A four-panelled door with a segmental head leads into the house. Attached to the right is a whitewashed brick outbuilding with a lower tiled roof.
