Description
32 and 34 Sheep Street is a house and cottage built in the 17th century. The cottage features a timber frame with whitewashed brick infill and a tiled roof, consisting of one storey and an attic, with one bay. It has a 3-light leaded casement window on the left and a board door on the right, which is topped by a flat wooden hood supported by cut brackets. The house has whitewashed roughcast over a timber frame. The front displays part of the frame with a curved brace visible on the right, while the gable shows framing at the top with brick infill and brick below. The roof is thatched, and there is a central brick chimney. The house has a T-plan lobby entry and is two storeys high with two irregular bays. It features 3-light leaded casements on the ground floor and upper left, along with a paired barred casement on the upper right. The central board door is topped with a gabled wooden hood.
