Description

This is an 18th-century terrace of four cottages, now reduced to three, situated on Dean Way in Chalfont St Giles. The composition is characterised by red brick construction with a dark brick band delineating the floor levels. The original roof was tiled and retains dentilled eaves. Candy Cottage is slightly wider, incorporating two bays, and retains its original casement windows to the first floor. The other cottages have had their windows altered, and mostly feature modern leaded casements. All ground floor openings are defined by cambered arches. Modern door hoods have been added.
