Description
Anthony Cottage is a 17th and 18th century two-bay, two-storey cottage located on the south-east side of High Street in Chalfont St Giles. It features an old tiled roof that is hipped to the west and is constructed of painted brick. The left bay dates from the 17th century and has plastered over timber-framing, while the right bay is made of 18th century brick. The cottage has casement windows on the first floor and sash windows on the ground floor, along with a central boarded door. The rear of the 17th century bay reveals exposed timber-framing. There is also a gable from a demolished cottage to the west, which is now covered in weatherboarding.
