Description

Lower Green Farmhouse is an early 17th-century farmhouse that features a timber-framed structure, mostly colourwashed and roughcast, with an old tile roof. The building consists of two bays and two storeys, along with a 1½ storey rear wing and an additional single storey outbuilding. The central porch, which is gabled, dates from the 19th century and includes a four flush panel door. The farmhouse has three-light casement windows and a jettied first floor. There is a central stack made of old thin bricks. The rear wing includes two 2-light dormers, while the outbuilding is constructed of rubblestone with brick dressings.
