Description
Old Century Cottage is a 17th-century cottage with a timber frame. The gable end facing the road features a whitewashed rubble stone base, with stone and brick infill above the frame. The entrance front to the south is rendered and shows studding. The cottage has a thatched roof with a stack on the street gable. It is one-and-a-half storeys tall and consists of two bays. The ground floor has paired barred metal casements, while the first floor has a paired half-leaded casement to the left and a single leaded casement to the right, both beneath thatch eyebrows. There is a barred glazed 20th-century door to the left of center. To the left, a lower extension is set back, rendered with a thatched roof and 20th-century openings. The rear features barred 20th-century casements.
