Description

Verandale is a small house dating from the early 18th century. The front is rendered and colourwashed, while the gable is of whitewashed rubble stone and the rear is brick. The gable features offset brick kneelers and a slate coping. The roof is thatched, with whitewashed brick stacks to the gable and centre. The house has one-and-a-half storeys. The front has two bays with three-light leaded casement windows on the ground floor, and a smaller two-light leaded casement window in the thatch to the left. A central panelled door provides access. The rear has four irregular bays with 20th-century barred casements and doors, along with two 19th-century paired casement windows in the thatch.
