Description

This is a house dating from the early and mid-18th century, situated on The Square in Brill. It is constructed of thin chequer brick, with larger bricks used above the first-floor window sills, and features moulded brick eaves. The roof is covered in old tiles, hipped to the left, with brick chimneys positioned on either side. The house is two storeys high and originally comprised three bays; the right-hand bay is slightly angled towards the centre. It has old leaded casement windows; a three-light window is located in the left bay, paired windows flank the centre and are positioned above the front door. The front door is of six panels and incorporates a top light, sheltered by a flat wooden cornice hood and an altered segmental head. There is a 19th and 20th-century lean-to addition to the left, containing a door and shop window. A lower wing extends at right angles to the rear of the left bay.
