Description

This is a house dating from the 17th century with significant alterations in the mid to late 18th century. The ground floor is built of thin brick, while the upper floors are of red brick laid above a moulded first-floor band course. The roof is tiled, hipped to the right-hand side, and features a brick chimney on the left. The house is in an "L" shape. It has two storeys and two bays. The windows are old leaded casements; a three-light window with a segmental head is on the ground floor to the right, while the remaining windows are two-light. The window on the ground floor to the left has an altered head. A six-panelled door is located to the left of centre, with an early 19th-century moulded wooden surround and a cornice hood above. A rear wing is rendered and whitewashed, with brick buttresses and a central chimney that incorporates some thin brick.
