Description

Pound Cottage, formerly known as School Cottage, is an early 18th-century building located on Chapel Street in West Wycombe. It features flint rubble walls with red brick quoins and dressings, topped by an old tiled roof. The cottage is a single storey with attics and has two casement windows with glazing bars. There are three gabled casement dormers, previously two, also with glazing bars. A modern two-window west wing has been added. The cottage is noted for its group value, as it is part of a group that includes Clerk of Works Cottage and Bird World Cottage.
