Description

Nos 4 and 5 on High Street in West Wycombe are 17th century buildings that have been altered over time. They feature colour washed brickwork with a timber frame on the first floor and an old tiled roof. The buildings are two storeys high and have two flush wood mullion casements with glazing bars, all of which are two-light except for one single-light window on the first floor. There are four and six flush panel doors, and a small hood supported by cut brackets extends over the entire length of the ground floor. These buildings are part of a group that includes several other notable structures in the area, such as Nos 2 to 5, The Swan Public House, and the West Wycombe Branch County Library.
