Description
Nos 8 and 9 on High Street are a pair of cottages dating from the 18th century. They are built from colour-washed brick and feature an old tile roof. The cottages are one storey high with attics and have three flush three-light wood mullion casement windows, each topped with cambered relieving arches. The attics include gabled half dormers. There are two doors, each with four flush panels and cambered relieving arches. These cottages are part of a group that includes adjoining outbuildings, other consecutive numbered houses, The Swan Public House, the West Wycombe Branch County Library, and The George and Dragon Inn, among others.
