The West Wycombe Branch County Library, formerly known as The Smithy, is a late 17th-century building that has been partially restored. It is constructed of flint rubble with red brick quoins and dressings, and features a hipped old tiled roof. The library is a single-storey structure with five modern two-light wood mullion and transom casements. It is listed for its group value, as it is part of a collection of significant buildings in the area, including adjoining properties and The Swan Public House.
