Description

Nos 12 and 13 on High Street are a pair of cottages dating from the late 16th century. They are constructed with a timber frame and have colour washed brick nogging. The cottages are two storeys high, with the first floor overhanging on exposed corbels and two brackets. They feature two flush wood mullion casement windows, with two lights in one and three lights in the other, both having glazing bars. These cottages are part of a group that includes several other buildings in the area, such as Nos 2 to 5, Nos 7 to 9, The Swan Public House, West Wycombe Branch County Library, Nos 10 to 13, No 15, Black Boy Cottage, The George and Dragon Inn, and Nos 16 to 23.
