Description
Nos 57 and 58 on High Street are a pair of cottages dating from the 18th century. They are constructed of red and grey bricks and feature an old tiled roof. The cottages are two storeys high and have four flush-set windows with glazing bars; the left-hand ground floor window is a double-hung sash set under a flat arch. Notable architectural details include cut bracketed door hoods, a brick band at the first floor, and a brick cornice at the eaves level.
