Description

Clerk of Works Cottage is an early 18th-century building located on Chapel Street in West Wycombe. It is constructed from flint rubble and red and grey brick, featuring red brick quoins and dressings, and has an old tiled roof. The cottage is two storeys high and has four casement windows with glazing bars. The central block is faced with red brick and has a corbelled cornice, while the northwest wing is made of painted timber with thin verticals and a Welsh slate roof. The cottage is noted for its group value, as it is part of a group that includes Pound Cottage and Bird World Cottage.
