Description

Ness Cottage is an early 18th-century building located on the north side of High Street in West Wycombe. It is constructed of flint rubble with red brick quoins and dressings, topped with an old tiled roof. The south side elevation is colour washed and features a gabled design with modern bargeboards. The cottage is a single storey with an attic, and it has two flush three-light casements with glazing bars, as well as two gabled casement dormers. Ness Cottage is part of a group that includes Nos 35 to 37, The Church Loft, Nos 45 to 54, Nos 56 to 59, Steps House, The Plough Inn, The Apple Orchard, The Old Smithy, West Wycombe Estate Office, and Rose Cottage.
