Description

Alwyn House is a house dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed of red brick with gauged brick heads above the openings. The building features panelled eaves supported by small cut brackets and has a slate roof with flanking brick chimneys. The house is two storeys tall with a basement and consists of three bays. The outer bays have 4-pane sash windows, while the central bay contains a 3-pane sash window above a 3-panelled door, which is topped by a semi-circular fanlight set in panelled reveals.
