Description

Chesham House is an early 19th-century house located on the east side of Winslow High Street. It is constructed of red brick with a slate roof, boarded eaves, and includes a cellar. The house is two storeys high and has three bays. The outer bays feature canted bay windows with cornice tops to the ground floor and four-pane sashes with gauged brick heads on the first floor. The central bay has a 20th-century paired barred wooden casement to the first floor and a front door consisting of two long panels within a wooden surround of segmental pilaster strips and a small hood supported on carved scroll brackets. A cellar window is located to the left of the main entrance.
