Description

Staniford House is a house dating from the 17th to 18th century, with alterations made in the late 18th century. The rear features some timber framing with brick infill, while the front is constructed of vitreous brick in header bond, complemented by red brick quoins, window surrounds, and moulded eaves. The roof is covered with old tiles arranged in a diamond pattern using lighter tiles, and there is a central stack. The building has two storeys and two bays, with three-light leaded casement windows, the ground floor windows featuring gauged brick heads. The central entrance consists of a six-panelled door topped with a flat hood supported by cut brackets, and there is a blind brick panel above the door.
