Description

No. 18 High Street is a shop with a house above, dating from the 17th century. It consists of one bay of a two-bay house and shares a central chimney stack with No. 20. The building features a timber frame that is exposed in the rear gable, while the front is mostly rendered. There is an old tile thin brick stack. The structure has two storeys and an attic. The projecting ground floor has a lean-to slate roof, with a 20th-century glazed door to the left and a square bay shop window to the right. The first floor includes a four-light wooden casement window with 20th-century glazing, and there is a four-light leaded casement window in the attic dormer.
