Description

Lime Cottage is a small house dating from the early 19th century. It is located on the west side of Winslow High Street. The house is constructed of red brick, with some sections laid in a chequered pattern, and has dentilled brick eaves and a slate roof. The front, facing the street, originally had one bay, featuring a barred bow window with a moulded surround on the ground floor, and a four-pane sash window with a segmental head above. A half-glazed door is positioned to the left. The side of the house, facing Church Walk, originally had two bays, each with sash windows similar to that on the front. A central six-panel door is accessed via a wooden hood supported by cut brackets. A later 19th-century extension to the left adds a taller bay with similar sash windows.
