Description

An 18th-century barn, located north of Townsend Farm and currently being converted into a house. The barn's lower walls are constructed of whitewashed brick and rubble stone, with a timber frame above, featuring whitewashed brick infill. The rear wall is primarily of rubble stone. It has a half-hipped tile roof and consists of six bays. A 20th-century metal casement window is located in the right-hand gable, and there is a lean-to addition to the left. There is an entry on the rear elevation. The barn is included on the list for its group value.
