Description

This is a 17th-century barn located to the south of Townsend Farm, currently being converted into a house. The structure features a timber frame and weatherboard, with the north side having a tall battered rubble stone plinth. It has a half-hipped roof covered with old tiles and an aisle at the rear. The barn consists of three bays and has a central waggon entry. Inside, there are curved braces supporting the tie beams and arcade plate, along with curved wind-braces and queen strut trusses.
