Description
The Church Hall, originally built as a school in 1866 by George Devey and extended in 1883, is a single-storey building constructed of red brick with blue diaper patterns, featuring irregular rubble stone quoins and a plinth. The roof is covered with old tiles. The hall has two bays; the left bay includes a three-light stone mullion window with diamond-shaped leaded glass. The right bay is gabled at the front, adorned with moulded bargeboards and a pendant finial, and has an off-set buttress to the left, along with a similar four-light window that includes transoms. Above this window, there is a small recessed brick panel displaying a diamond motif in blue brick. To the right, there is a lean-to made of brick and weatherboard. A later wing at the rear also features stone mullion windows, with a two-light window flanking a three-light window, both having plain glazing. The entrance is located to the south, at the angle between the wings.
