Description

This is an 18th-century timber-framed and weatherboarded barn located to the south-west of Crab Tree Farmhouse. The barn consists of six bays and features an old tiled roof and a brick plinth. Inside, it has queen strut roof trusses, some of which are supported by curved purlin braces. The second bay from the north-east serves as a cart entry, and there is a lean-to bay on the west side. Additionally, there is a three-bay lower extension to the west, which is also timber-framed and weatherboarded, with a brick elevation facing the road and the east side of the south-west bay.
