Description
The Swan Public House is a 17th century timber-framed house that has been converted into a public house. Originally, it extended further to the north. The building consists of two bays and stands two storeys high, featuring colourwashed render on its exterior. The framing is exposed on the north gable, and it has casement windows. There is a thin brick stack from the 17th century located on the left side of the north gable, and the roof is covered with old tiles. The right-hand bay includes a two-storey gabled projecting bay with an entrance and decorative fake timber framing on the upper storey and gable. At the rear, there is a rendered range. Inside, the building showcases chamfered and stopped spine beams along with much exposed framing.
