Description

The structure is a garden wall with an attached barn, located at Barley Cottage. It dates from 1753, as indicated by brick numbers set in flint panels on the left side. The wall is made of flint, featuring brick coping, uprights, and buttresses. There is a small gateway near the left end and a driveway near the right end. The barn on the right is likely from the 19th century and has undergone alterations in the 20th century. The lower walls of the barn are constructed of flint and brick, while the upper walls are timber-framed and weatherboarded. The barn consists of two bays, with garage doors on the left and a high 20th-century casement window on the right. The barn is included for its group value.
