Description
Blenheim Pavilion, located in Cliveden and designed by Giacomo Leoni around 1735, is a Grade I listed building. It is constructed of stone with lead roofs. The pavilion features an arched opening supported by paired Ionic pilasters, with single-storeyed rusticated wings on either side. Decorative garlands are present in the spandrels of the arch. Above the arch, there is a pediment adorned with trophies. Inside, the alcove is framed by Ionic pilasters and connects to the wings, which each contain a single sash window and are topped with a balustrade that ends in obelisks.
