Description

The Old Retort House and chimney, located at the south-east corner of Grape House Yard in Cliveden, dates from the 19th century. It is constructed of red brick and features a corrugated iron roof. This building is the remains of the Estate Gasworks. The chimney is cement-rendered to resemble a tree trunk.
