SD 68 SW MIDDLETON HIGH ROAD (East side)

16/159 Barn approx. 50m to north-west of Borrens (q.v.) G.V. II

Barn. Beam inscribed with early C18 date and initials; later outshuts. Stone rubble with slate roof. North elevation has forward break to west of barn entrance. Outshuts under catslide roofs to both sides of entrance. East gable end has ventilation slots; west gable end has cow house entrances to lower level. South elevation has 2 outshuts under catslide roofs flanking entrance.
