Description

This is a barn located approximately 50 meters to the north-west of Borrens, dating from the early 18th century, as indicated by an inscribed beam with a date and initials. The barn is constructed of stone rubble and features a slate roof. The north elevation has a forward break to the west of the barn entrance, with outshuts under catslide roofs on both sides of the entrance. The east gable end includes ventilation slots, while the west gable end has entrances for a cow house at a lower level. The south elevation also has two outshuts under catslide roofs flanking the entrance.
