Description

This milestone, located approximately 120 meters southeast of the Sportsman's Inn in Dent, dates from the early to mid 19th century. It is made of dressed sandstone and is painted white. The milestone features a square plinth with chamfered corners and a semicircular shaft that is inscribed with "S / 10" and has a rounded top. It is one of a series of 11 milestones in this parish.
